Program Overview

PROnoia is a hands-on IT internship designed to give college students and recent graduates real-world experience in technology, project management, and digital innovation. This internship is customized to match each intern’s career interests, ensuring they gain practical experience that strengthens their resume and prepares them for full-time roles in IT.

Who Is This For?

✅ Current College Students pursuing a major or minor in MIS, Project Management, IT, or a related field.
✅ Recent Graduates (within the last 1-2 years) looking to gain hands-on experience before securing a full-time role.
✅ Graduates of the ImPower Mentorship Program who want to apply their mentorship learnings in a practical setting.

Internship Schedule & Terms

PROnoia offers three internship cohorts per year, aligned with traditional college terms:

📆 Spring Internship → January – April
📆 Summer Internship → May – August
📆 Fall Internship → September – December

Each internship is a structured 12–16 week program, with weekly project meetings and mentorship check-ins.

Tailored Internship Experience

Each intern will work on a real-world project aligned with their career interests. Before the internship begins, a personalized plan will be created to ensure meaningful work experience.

Web Design Interns:

• Assist in designing & improving www.smarthomepm.com.

• Gain hands-on experience with UX/UI, SEO, and content management.
   

Project Management Interns:

• Lead or assist with a real IT project based on their interests (Infrastructure, Software, AI, etc.).

• Learn Agile & Waterfall methodologies, stakeholder management, and risk assessment.
   

Software Development Interns:

• Build a mobile application for Smart Home PM or contribute to a related development project.

• Gain hands-on experience in coding, testing, and software deployment.
   

IT Infrastructure Interns:

• Work on networking, cybersecurity, or IT asset management projects.

• Gain exposure to IT support, cloud solutions, and infrastructure planning.
